Scotland’s NHS has always been separate from the UK and that’s why it outperforms the UK NHS across a wide range of measures - but it is under attack from creeping privatisation which leads to cuts in Scotland’s health budget. Only independence will give Scotland’s parliament the power to protect Scotland’s NHS from privatisation, improve it, staff it and fund it properly.
