100 days to create the business opportunity of a lifetime

9th June

Scottish business people have 100 days left to create the business opportunity of a lifetime according to Business for Scotland. Using the opportunities offered by Scottish independence to create a thriving and vibrant business enviroment simply makes good sense said the group’s chairman Tony Banks.

Promising a full-throated business campaign for a Yes vote, Banks said:

“Throughout the referendum campaign we’ve been laying out the advantages of independence for Scottish business and now we’re redoubling our efforts for the last 100 days.

“This will be a full-throated campaign in favour of Scots taking positive charge of our own affairs, deciding for ourselves what direction we want our nation to take and what kind of country we want to live in.

“Those are the kind of decisions we take in business every day, decisions that affect us, the people who work with us and the customers we serve. Scotland can do the same, making positive decisions as a nation to secure a better future for all of us.

“We can decide to use Scotland’s wealth to improve this country for everyone who lives here. Our businesses can thrive with the proper support that can be offered by an independent Scottish Government; we can create more wealth, more employment and better standards of living.

“September 18th is our day of destiny, the day we can choose to give Scotland a fresh start and a whole new set of business opportunities. Yes is the password to a brighter future for all of us.”
