Business for Scotland, the campaigning business network, is expanding. We are looking to add a new member to our Glasgow city centre based team.
The role will involve:
- Members registration and liaison
- Website and social media updating
- Upselling membership options to existing members
- Event marketing and organisation including our annual conference and dinner events
- Newsletter production
- Creating surveys
- Membership admin and general admin
- Local Group support
The successful applicant will play a key role supporting our 2015 campaigns including: Yes to EU, More Powers (FFR), Living Wage, Fairness and Equality, Invest for Growth, Sustainability, Innovation and Internationalisation. We also maintain our long held support for independence.
Full training will be offered, some travel and evening working is required for events.
This role is a graduate role recruited through the Glasgow Commonwealth Graduate Fund and so the applicant will have to live within the Glasgow City Council area, have been a graduate since May 2012 and have been underemployed or unemployed for the last 13 weeks. The initial salary will be dependent on experience and relevant skills set but will, at a minimum, be above the Living Wage.
Upon completion of the graduate programme we expect this role to develop into a permanent position.
